NYSE stocks overview



U.S. stock market ended on record highs on Monday, with bulls in transportation and health care sector. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 39.65 points or 0.23% to 17613.58, the S&P gained 6.33 points or 0.31%to 2038.25 and the NASDAQ Composite added 19.08 points, or 0.41% to 4651.62. With US bank holiday on Tuesday in observance of Veterans day, market is expected to trade in range with low volume.

U.S. Stock market again ended on a bullish note on Friday, to end the whole week in green. The latest numbers for GDP has also indicated that the economy is growing at a stabilized rate. With positive sign of not increasing interest rate till the start of next year has boosted the market sentiments positively. With manufacturing data due on Monday it is expected to keep up the good pace in the economy to help bulls takeover the market.

Wallstreet stocks update


U.S. stock market ended on a bullish note on Thursday, heading to close October month as a treat for investor. The S&P 500 was on track to end the month about 1% higher. The NASDAQ was up 1.5% and the Dow was up by 0.8% after gaining 215 points. With no major data due on Friday, market is expected to trade range bound with less volume.

NYSE stocks ended on a positive note on Friday with slew of earnings coming next two weeks, including big names such as Apple and Coca-Cola. With unemployment coming back under 6% and jobless claims coming this week was at lowest since 2000. Consumer sentiments are positive and has also hit highest level in the last seven years but, at the worst market dip. With no major data due on Monday market is expected to continue its bullish movement with less volume.

NYSE Overview

 U.S. stock market ended Red on Tuesday, with major indexes falling more than 1%  each, as weak data out of Germany raised concerns about the strength of global growth ahead of the start of earnings session. The Consumer Credit report for August was released by the Federal Reserve and it showed that consumer credit increased by $13.50 billion which was lower than the estimate of $20.00 billion. FOMC Meeting Minutes is due on Wednesday, which is expected to come positive for the economy.

U.S. stock finished on a positive note with the choice taken by the California Public Retirement System (CalPERS) to passageway all mutual funds inside one year from now. Dow Jones Industrial average 100.96 points, or 0.59% , to close at 17132.10. S&p 500 picked up 14.87 points or 0.75percent to close at 1999 and the NASDAQ Composite added 33.86 points or 0.75percent to close at 4552.76. Market is presently peering toward on Federal Funds Rate proclamation due on Wednesday which is required to come positive for the economy.
