NYSE Stocks Overview

NYSE Overview

U.S. stock market closed on a bullish note on Thursday, pushing the DOW and S&P 500 to fresh record closing highs, as data showed further strength in the US economy. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 30.6 points or 0.17% to close at 17716.33, the S&P 500 gained 3.98 points or 0.19% to 2052.7 and the NASDAQ Composite added 26.16 points or 0.56% to close at 4701.87. With no important data on Friday, market is expected to trade range bound with less volume.

NYSE stocks overview



U.S. stock market ended on record highs on Monday, with bulls in transportation and health care sector. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 39.65 points or 0.23% to 17613.58, the S&P gained 6.33 points or 0.31%to 2038.25 and the NASDAQ Composite added 19.08 points, or 0.41% to 4651.62. With US bank holiday on Tuesday in observance of Veterans day, market is expected to trade in range with low volume.

U.S. stock market Overview

U.S. stock market again ended on a positive note on a positive note on Wednesday as stock market boosted with Republican mid term election win. Tech Companies tried to drag the market down in the first half of the session but in the second half market was able to recover to touch all time highs. Employment data is due on Thursday which is expected to help keep up the positive pace of the economy.

US stock market overview

U.S. stock market again ended on a bullish note for the second consecutive day on Tuesday with election prediction weighing the market. In the house, republicans appears likely to expand their majority. Investors are also looking for evidence that world's largest economy can sustain a withdrawal in central-bank stimulus. ADP Non-Farm employment change is due on Wednesday, which is expected to support the economic sustained growth.

US stock market overview
U.S. stock market ended on a flat note, rebounding from an early 200 point plunge on the Dow that was sparked by more growth concerns. The selling over the past month has wiped out gains for this year leaving all the major indexes to their bottoms. Consumer sentiment data due on Friday is expected to come positive for the economy.
